Ketones are a super fuel that can be efficiently used by the muscles and brain, where they generate more energy per unit of oxygen than carbohydrates, protein, or fat. Consumption of exogenous ketones results in significant decreases in oxygen demand and increases in mental acuity and performance.
KetoCaNa contains 11.7 grams per serving of the ketone body Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB) in a delicious, lightly-flavored strawberry lemonade base. It contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.
KetoCaNa is excellent for those who need energy but must limit carbohydrate intake. KetoCaNa may also be used by individuals who consume carbohydrates to provide an additional energy source and limit exercise induced glycogen depletion. It may also be used to ease transition into a ketogenic state by helping to alleviate the fatigue and lethargy some experience while making the transition from a glucose to a ketone metabolism.
KetoCaNa should be stirred vigorously into eight ounces of cold water until dissolved for best results.
Warning: Those not acclimated to ketone or MCT supplementation may experience GI upset with the first use of such products. These symptoms subside rather quickly and are usually completely absent within two doses.

A: Initially use of exogenous ketones can cause some temporary GI upset until acclimated to use. Additionally, since this product contains salt, all users should limit additional salt intake.

A: It is okay to use KetoCaNa later in the evening. It does not contain any stimulants.

A: To our knowledge none of the ingredients in KetoCana are banned by any governing body however it is always better to check with your sanctioning entity before consuming this or any other supplement.
Q: Is this product artificially sweetened or flavored?
A: No. It is naturally flavored and sweetened and has a pleasant strawberry lemonade taste.

A: KetoCaNa is a powdered product and therefore very portable. It contains sodium and calcium BHB salts and should be dissolved in eight ounces of water for use. It is naturally flavored and sweetened and has a pleasant light strawberry lemonade taste.
Q: How should I take this product if I am in ketosis?
A: If you are already in ketosis we recommend taking 1 heaping scoop (in 8 oz of water) 15 minutes prior to working out. It stays in your system and will provide your body with elevated ketone levels for up to 3 hours. When taken as a pre-workout, it has been shown to decrease the amount of oxygen consumed at a given power output.
Q: How should I take this product if I am trying to get into ketosis?
A: If you are transitioning into a state of ketosis then there is a loading phase. It is recommended that you take three servings per day for two to three days. One of these servings should be 15 minutes pre-workout.
